The Role:
As a Nine Mile Software Engineer – Exchange Connectivity, you will have the opportunity to work at the heart of our trading systems. Responsibilities of this role will include.
- Build and maintain low-latency connections to global trading venues, covering both order
gateways and market data feeds - Manage and coordinate connectivity with a variety of FIX brokers, managing the projects from
Inception to delivery - Manage exchange upgrade projects
- Monitor and analyse exchange-facing components, suggest and implement optimizations for
the best trading outcomes - Work flexibly with a focus on real-time issues as well as long-term projects
- Performance tuning, maximizing throughput, and minimizing latency
What you will bring:
- Development in C++20
- A scripting language, preferably Python
- Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
- Solid understanding of network protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in financial markets
- Strong academic record in a computer science degree
- Experience with some or all of the following. ITCH, OUCH, FLEX, Arrowhead, JGATE, OMNET, FIX
