The Role:
As a Nine Mile Market Operations Associate you will work at the frontline of our Operations and Trading teams. Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Completion of daily Cash and Stock Reconciliations
- Efficient and effective management of Settlements process
- Responsible for Rebooking’s / Bookings
- Managing end of day PnL ensuring high level of attention to detail
- Work closely with Trading and Technology teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Building effective relationships with clearing banks, issuers and service providers
- Generate ideas for process improvement to systems and processes
What you will bring:
- 1-3 years’ experience in similar middle office / operational role
- Experience working in a HFT Firm, Hedge Fund or Clearing Bank (Preferred)
- Familiarity with File Transfer Protocol
- Advanced Excel skills, Power Query is highly desirable
- Experience in project management
- Basic understanding of Risk and Funding Mechanics
- Strong attention to detail
- A genuine passion for the financial markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business related field
