The Role:

As a Nine Mile Market Operations Associate you will work at the frontline of our Operations and Trading teams. Responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Completion of daily Cash and Stock Reconciliations
  • Efficient and effective management of Settlements process
  • Responsible for Rebooking’s / Bookings
  • Managing end of day PnL ensuring high level of attention to detail
  • Work closely with Trading and Technology teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Building effective relationships with clearing banks, issuers and service providers
  • Generate ideas for process improvement to systems and processes

What you will bring:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar middle office / operational role
  • Experience working in a HFT Firm, Hedge Fund or Clearing Bank (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with File Transfer Protocol
  • Advanced Excel skills, Power Query is highly desirable
  • Experience in project management
  • Basic understanding of Risk and Funding Mechanics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for the financial markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field
