The Role

As part of our continued expansion across APAC futures markets, we are seeking an experienced Quantitative Futures Trader to strengthen and scale our HFT market-making capabilities.

The primary focus will be on providing liquidity in APAC-listed futures, while also welcoming candidates with strong global futures market-making experience who are interested in building and trading strategies within the region.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing, and optimising high-frequency, low-latency market-making strategies across futures markets, with a focus on APAC venues.
  • Actively managing real-time risk, inventory, and quoting behaviour in fast-moving market conditions
  • Working closely with our ETF market-making desk to align pricing, hedging, and risk across related products
  • Partnering with our in-house developers to enhance trading infrastructure, execution performance, and latency-sensitive systems
  • Identifying new futures products and venues where market-making opportunities exist and scaling them efficiently
  • Owning strategy performance and contributing directly to consistent, scalable PnL
  • This is a high-impact, front-office role offering meaningful autonomy within a proven, high-performance HFT trading environment.

What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in HFT futures market making at a leading proprietary trading firm or similar high-performance trading environment
  • Proven track record trading APAC futures markets, or strong global futures market-making experience with a desire to expand into APAC
  • Strong understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and liquidity provision
  • Advanced programming skills, ideally in Python and/or C++, with a strong appreciation for performance and latency
  • Excellent quantitative skills, including probability, statistics, and numerical methods as applied to market making
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, real-time trading environments
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Solid academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline
